For the past few weeks, our public health program has distributed feminine pads and worked with our community health workers to raise awareness about menstruation. in haiti, especially in rural areas, it is hard to find feminine products and with limited access to running water, it can be even harder to preform normal activities, like going to school. by providing resources, education and awareness and access to school latrines, we are working towards breaking the stigma surrounding menstruation. #haiti #hopeforhaiti #28days #period @28.ayiti

Mangos mean happiness. throughout the year, our reforestation team care for and nurture 2,000+ seedlings. of the many varieties, they grow #papaya, #moringa, #plantains, and of course, #mango trees! the seedlings not sold to the community are planted in our school gardens and used in the school feeding programs. the ones sold help protect the environment and boost economic opportunities for the community. #haiti #hopeforhaiti #happiness #trees
