Some have chosen to cast aspersions on Haiti because of its conditions and to question why Haitians are allowed to remain in the U.S. after seeking refuge from their homeland.

We’d instead choose to applaud the positive work of Southwest Florida religious organizations and nonprofits that are helping the nation and its people try to lift the future up.

Hope for Haiti and Yoga Home Launch Partnership: #FromHometoHaiti

On Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Hope for Haiti, a Naples, FL-based organization, is launching a philanthropic partnership with Yoga Home of Conshohocken, PA.  #FromHometoHaiti will provide volunteers from the greater Philadelphia area yoga community with an opportunity to make positive change in Haiti through direct service.  An exploration into the heart of yoga and service, participants will engage in meaningful activities in Hope for Haiti’s core programmatic areas of education, healthcare, water, infrastructure and economy.
