Hope for Haiti Family,
Happy new year! Mèsi anpil (thank you very much) for embarking on another year of improving lives in Haiti with us. We’re looking forward to what’s to come, and immensely grateful for your continued support.
In late December, our team held a special nutrition clinic with our pediatric care partners from Simon, where the nutritional health of more than 80 children was evaluated. The parents were provided with information and resources to help improve their children’s nutrition (as needed), and also offered blood sugar and blood pressure screenings for themselves.
As this clinic was just before Christmas, it turned into a health-focused celebration, with music and dancing between consultations.
Recently, Hope for Haiti Photographer, Magdala (Magdie) Saintil, checked in with members of our team at the Infirmary St. Etienne to see what a typical workday is like. Check out the video here!
