Tip: Individual fundraisers don’t allow others to join your team and help fundraise, only to make donations to your page. Team fundraisers are best when several people are interested in raising money to support Hope for Haiti. Each person who joins your team will also have their own individual fundraising page that can be customized, while all the funds raised will be credited to the team.

Is my donation tax-deductible?
Hope for Haiti is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization and your donation is tax-deductible within the guidelines of U.S. law. EIN 53-0193519. To claim a donation as a deduction on your U.S. taxes, please keep your email donation receipt as your official record. Once you submit your gift online you will receive an automatic acknowledgement on the screen and delivered to the email address you provided when submitting your gift. Sometimes, the receipt can be found in your Spam or Promotions folder. Please check there first, and if you still do not see it, please contact Stephanie Jepsen at stephanie@hopeforhaiti.com
Can I make a donation over the phone or by mail?

Can I make a gift through my will or stock transfer?
Yes, you can. At this time, we are unable to accept any donation of physical goods such as clothing, shoes, or non-palleted food from individuals or groups.
