Our Refund Policy

Thank you for supporting Hope for Haiti’s mission. We value every contribution and work hard to ensure that all donations are used effectively. Because donations help us plan and deliver programs, often immediately, our ability to grant refunds is limited. 

Eligibility for Refunds

– Refund requests must be made within 30 days of the donation date.
– Refunds may be issued in cases of donation error, duplicate transactions, or incorrect amounts (subject to review).
– Donations made in support of event expenses will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
– Recurring donations may be canceled at any time. Refunds for past recurring donations follow the same 30-day policy. 

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact us at james@hopeforhaiti.com with the following information:

– Donor name
– Date and amount of donation
– Reason for the refund request
– Proof of transaction (if available)

Non-Refundable Donations

– Donations made more than 30 days ago
– Funds already allocated to program delivery
– In-kind contributions

Refund Method

Approved refunds will be issued using the original payment method whenever possible.
