Your Help Needed Now: Cholera Outbreak Rapid Response

We need your helpLast week, we shared the news that our partner community of Tête Source is facing a cholera outbreak, with multiple deaths confirmed. Thanks to the immediate support of the Hope for Haiti community, we were able to raise more than the first $10,000 needed to respond rapidly to this crisis and work to prevent further loss of life.

However, the situation remains dangerous for families in the region, and we still need your help to fully contain this outbreak.

We urgently require an additional $10,000 to secure and distribute 200 home water filtration systems for our cholera rapid response efforts. Each of these systems has the capacity to filter up to one million gallons of water throughout its lifetime.

Every dollar counts, and your contribution, no matter the size, will make a tangible difference in the lives of those affected.
Provision of Supplies: our team is distributing crucial supplies like soap and aquatabs for water purification in both the affected community of Tête Source as well as the neighboring community of Ravine Sable. Through our trusted gift-in-kind partners, like MAP International, we have additional supplies that will be en route to Haiti soon, including a pallet of oral rehydration salts.

Education and Awareness: our team is conducting education sessions, raising awareness about cholera prevention, promoting hygiene practices, and emphasizing the importance of clean water.

We are proud to be a 4-star rated charity by Charity Navigator and a participant at the Platinum Level through the GuideStar Exchange, two leading independent evaluators recognizing our transparency and careful stewardship of donor resources.
