Dear friends of Hope for Haiti,
January is Cervical Health Awareness Month, and our team is on a mission to help as many women as possible learn about cervical cancer and get access to screenings and treatment. Hope for Haiti provided nearly 14,000 cancer screenings in southern Haiti last year alone, helping women take charge of their health and detect or rule out cervical and breast cancer.

In this moving mini documentary, we hear Justana’s story. A mother and resident of Les Cayes, Haiti, Justana sought help at Hope for Haiti’s Infirmary St. Etienne when she began feeling dizziness and discomfort.
Justana’s story is like that of so many in southern Haiti. Without access to quality healthcare and health education, she could have easily been lost to cervical cancer, a curable disease. You can help thousands of people across rural southern Haiti by donating today.

In 2021, after being diagnosed with diabetes at another hospital, she began receiving follow-up care at Hope for Haiti’s Infirmary St. Etienne (ISE). What started as routine care soon became something far more profound.
