Stamford Advocate- Americares aid arrives in Haiti Thursday

STAMFORD—An Americares shipment of medicine and supplies arrived in Haiti Thursday where Hurricane Matthew has left 350,000 people in need of humanitarian assistance and are headed to a clinic in Les Cayes run by Hope for Haiti, according to the Stamford-based organization.
As the storm makes its way towards the United States and the east coast of Florida an Americares Emergency Response team has arrived in that state to assess any damage and offer assistance when the storm makes landfall on Friday.
